• Invested as a member of The Honourable Guild of Town Criers of New Zealand in October 2000 at the B.G.M. just prior to the National Championships.
• Competed in the National Championships and won the title of New Zealand National Champion Town Crier and Best Dressed Town Crier.
• Represented New Zealand at the 9th World Championships for Town Criers, held in Anacortes USA.
• Was placed 14th overall and was awarded the title Best New Town Crier in the World. Attended the Invitational Cry in Oak Bay Vancouver Canada immediately after and won the Best Dressed Town Crier award..
• Was first women Town Crier to be voted in as President of The Honourable Guild of Town Criers of New Zealand.

• Acts as a Good Will Ambassador for the City of Palmerston North
• Welcomes Dignitaries to Palmerston North and Manawatu Region
• Announces Names of those becoming New Zealanders at Citizenship Ceremonies bi-monthly
• Performs at Graduation Ceremonies for Massey University, Universal College of Learning (UCOL) International Pacific College (IPC) and other Tertiary Providers
• Competes in International and National Town Crier Championships
• Promotes City as world class Conference Centre
• Welcomes in the Festival Of Cultures
• Attends the Sakura Festival ( Blossom Festival) at International Pacific College
• Welcomes new students to Massey University and International Pacific College
• Leads Christmas Parade with the Mayor

In March 2005 Caroline was the Kiwi Success Story guest on the Good Morning Show with Evie Ashton which was televised nationally.

In June 2005 Caroline was invited to officially welcome the Lions Balmy Army Supporters to Palmerston North. She was also interviewed on television for the Holmes Show by Paul Holmes and recited a cry she had specifically written for the Lions Tour.

In June 2007 Caroline was invited by Mr. Ohashi from the International Pacific College to perform at the Opening Ceremony a new university in Okayama, Japan. Caroline was part of an official party which included Dame Catherine Tizzard. This was an extraordinary opportunity an eight day whirlwind trip. The hospitality afforded the group was exceptional and an experience Caroline will never forget.

International Competitions 2004

In June 2004 Caroline attended an International Town Criers Tournament at the invitation of the Lord Mayor of Chester, England. Town Criers from eleven different countries competed. Caroline’s husband Clive attended as her Dressed Escort. As part of the Chester Tournament, the Inaugural Worlds Women only Town Crier Championship was held. Caroline won the title of Ladies World Champion Town Crier and Clive won the Best Dressed Escort award. Caroline also won the much coveted Media Award trophy for the best promotion of Chester within a Town Criers home country.

Special Invitation

Caroline was invited to MC the Festival of Cultures Celebratory Concert, where Sir Howard Morrison, an Internationally Famous New Zealand Entertainer, was the Icon Act. Sir Howard invited the Town Crier on stage to join him to sing "Po Kare Kare Ana".

Caroline performed a Double Act with her sister who is the Town Crier for Gore in the South Island of New Zealand and welcomed the delegation from Palmerston North's Sister City of Missoula USA to Palmerston North and attended the Gala dinner, where they met the American Consulate Mr. Charles Swindells.
